7/24&25 横須賀校でBKBを実施しました
夏の強い日差しが注ぐ中、横須賀校でBKBを実施しました。
今回の受講生は3名の外国人の皆さんです。
2日間にわたる教室講義と海上実習は英語で進めていきました。
BKBの目標は、中型ヨットの艇長として、安全にデイセーリングを楽しめるようになることです。
教室講義では、様々なヨット用語に加えて、海洋法規などを学びます。
海上実習では、主要な操船技術や、帆走による落水者救助法を習得します。
卒業テストにも全員無事に合格し、ASA-101の国際ライセンスを取得しました。

Thanks to Instructor Yamamoto san! I had a great time learning and sailing under brilliant clear blue skies that day! Yamamoto san once again with his coaching skills and dedication, we all had a chance to do everything we did for BKB course. The MOB training was excellente!! Very important skillset to be well versed in and we had a lot of training in this area! Its a matter of life or ….!! Again my personal thanks to Yamamoto san for his coaching!!! Onward we sail…!!!!
Hi Tim-san, Thank you again for taking the BKB lesson the other day. Yes, it was such a beautiful day and I am so glad to know you enjoyed the MOB rescue training. By finishing both SBD and BKB courses, you now understand how to handle a sailboat under motor and how to enjoy day sailing. I do wish you all the best in your continued endeavor! Fair winds!!
